  12.     -   We have developed a 32-bit version of TBAV-for-Windows! The
  13.         beta version runs successfully under Windows NT and the
  14.         Windows95 Preview Edition. A beta version of TBAV-for-Networks
  15.         for the Windows NT platform will be finished soon!

  17.     -   ThunderBYTE Anti-Virus is now supported electronically 24 hours
  18.         a day via CompuServe. You can contact us via the ThunderBYTE
  19.         Forum (GO TBYTE), WUGNET/WINUTIL Forum (GO WINUTIL) and via the
  20.         Windows News Forum (GO WINNEWS).

  22.     -   TBAV-for-Dos now comes with a file containing answers to some
  23.         Frequently Asked Questions. This file, called TBAV.FAQ, can be
  24.         viewed via the TBAV-for-Windows and TBAV-for-DOS 'Documentation'
  25.         menu.

  27. TBAV-for-Windows notes:
  28.     -   Since TBAV-for-Windows and TBAV-for-DOS both use the same scan
  29.         engine, you are advised to read the "What's New" information
  30.         concerning TBAV-for-DOS as well. Select the item "What's new ?"
  31.         in the TBAV-for-Windows 'Documentation' menu to read the
  32.         information.

  34.     -   The accompanying 'ReadMe.1st' file contains some last-minute
  35.         information about TBAV-for-Windows. Select the item "Read Me" in
  36.         the TBAV-for-Windows Program Manager group to read this file.

  39. TBAV-for-Windows:
  40.     ->  This release introduces the new TBAV-for-Windows VxD driver.
  41.         This VxD driver makes the File I/O Monitor module of
  42.         TBAV-for-Windows completely Windows-based. Furthermore, the File
  43.         I/O Monitor module now works correctly in all environments,
  44.         including environments where 32-bit Disk Access or 32-bit File
  45.         Access is enabled! For more information about the
  46.         TBAV-for-Windows VxD driver and how to install it, consult the
  47.         ReadMe.1st file.

  49.     -   The online help files have been completely revised! The full
  50.         documentation of TBAV-for-Windows is included in an attractive
  51.         and easy-to-use help file.

  53.     -   A new option is added in the 'Background Scan Configuration'
  54.         menu. It is now possible to instruct the behaviour of
  55.         TBAV-for-Windows when the program is minimized, by selecting
  56.         whether or not you want the status window to be displayed. If
  57.         you disable this option, the TBAV-for-Windows icon will be
  58.         displayed instead of the status window.

  60.     -   The dialog box that appeared when quitting TBAV-for-Windows has
  61.         been changed. Now, you can not only choose to quit
  62.         TBAV-for-Windows, but you can also minimize TBAV-for-Windows.
  63.         You can even instruct TBAV-for-Windows not to show this dialog
  64.         box when you want to exit TBAV-for-Windows. Change the setting
  65.         for displaying the dialog box via the 'Options|TBAV for Windows
  66.         configuration' dialog !

  68.     -   The Setup Module has been slightly improved.

  70.     -   TBAV-for-Windows' interface with TBAV-for-Networks has been
  71.         enhanced.

  73.     -   The utility called 'TbLoad' which implements the automatic
  74.         update feature of TBAV-for-Windows no longer relies on the
  75.         presence of the Anti-Vir.Dat file when a new version of
  76.         TBAV-for-Windows is copied, but will update the fingerprint
  77.         information in the TBAVWIN directory automatically.

  79.     -   The Application Execution Tracker module caused a sharing
  80.         violation in some environments when a DOS program was executed.
